Hi, I’m Craig Harrington, founder and lead technician at Scoot Tuning Christchurch. With over 15 years of hands-on experience in scooter repair, performance tuning, and custom modifications, I’ve built my life around helping riders get the most out of their machines.

My passion for scooters started early — drawn by their simplicity, freedom, and unique character. Over the years, that passion evolved into a deep technical understanding of modern scooter engines, CVT systems, and performance upgrades. Today, I combine professional expertise with personal enthusiasm to deliver reliable, high-performance scooters that riders across Christchurch and Canterbury can trust.

Before starting Scoot Tuning, I spent years working on a wide range of Asian and European scooter brands — from everyday commuters to high-performance builds. My experience includes servicing, diagnostics, and complete rebuilds for:
Yamaha, Honda, Vespa, Piaggio, Aprilia, SYM, Kymco, Suzuki, Peugeot, and Lambretta scooters.

I’ve also developed a reputation for custom tuning and modifications that enhance both performance and style. Whether it’s adjusting variators for smoother take-off, optimising exhaust flow for better top-end power, or refining fuel systems for improved efficiency — I approach every scooter with the same level of precision and care.
